Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) is one of the key precursors of coenzyme NAD + , which plays an important role in the life process, nMN is mainly produced by Nicotinamide (Nam) catalyzed by Nicotinamide phosphate ribose transfer ase (NAMPT) , and NMN is subsequently produced by Nicotinamide mononucleotide transferase (NAD) . NMN outside the cell needs to be transformed from dephosphoric acid into nicotinamide ribose (NR) to enter the hepatocyte. After entering the hepatocyte, nicotinamide ribose is phosphorylated to NMN by nicotinamide ribonucleotide kinase, nMN and ATP combine to form NAD + .
