Description of Cosmetic Grade Emulsifier PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate Pasty Solid:

PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate is a new and unique polymer W/O emulsifier. It can emulsify all kinds of oils and resist to high electrolyte and ethanol. It can be made into W/O type emulsion of 90% aqueous phase with high percentage of solid powder. PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate can be used in producing all kinds of emulsion such as traditional W/O cream and skin-care emulsion, liquid W/O emulsion, silicon oil emulsion and W/O/W multiple emulsions. In addition, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate can disperse solid including pigment in the oil phase of W/O emulsion. The character has a special value for formulation of high-end make-up and sunscreen products. It can effectively solve the problem of bad appearance and themal stability of cream. Suggested to be emusified at high temperatrue, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate can be used as formulation for all kinds of active ingredients. It is a super W/O emulsifier with excellent cost effectiveness and thermal stability. It is a kind of A-B-A-type block copolymer. Compared with traditional small molecular emulsifier, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate has the two fixed large-scaled long chain of hydroxyl stearic acid ester which forms a special not-easy-rotated 3D space structure. PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate has excellent freeze/defrost properties and long-term storage without increasing the viscosity. PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate enables high internal phase emulsions production possible. Without special production requirement, emulsion with more than 90% internal phase is easy to be emulsified. Generally, those emulsions have a wider particular distribution from 0.4mm to 4 mm and higher viscosity which is suitable forcream. The viscosity of high internal phase emulsions remains stable under high temperature which makes it very suitable for applications such as sunscreen products under high temperature. For the pure silicon oil emulsion, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate can be used as emulsifier with silicon polyhydroxy compounds such as EM 90 to promote silicone oil emulsion stability and simplify the emulsification process.
